Trio land December player gongs
Camp, Beckford and Dawson have landed the gongs for the Championship, League One and League Two respectively. Forest goalkeeper Camp was in outstanding form in December, conceding just a single goal to help his side record four wins and two draws from their six league fixtures. Also short-listed for the December award were Chris Burke of Cardiff City, Billy Sharp of Doncaster Rovers and Swansea City's Darren Pratley. Beckford has been in tremendous goal-scoring form all season and netted four goals in six games for the League One leaders in December. His scoring streak began with a brace to help his side come from behind to secure all three points against Hartlepool United. The frontman also scored twice in an away win at Stockport County as Leeds United ended the month with 14 points from a possible 18 to continue to set the pace at the top of League One.
