Tigers talk to Prutton

Hull City are to open talks with midfielder David Prutton after having an offer for the player accepted by Championship rivals Southampton.
The 25-year-old Hull-born schemer has made only a handful of appearances for the Saints this term and will be allowed to move on for a fee reported to be around £250,000.
Tigers boss Phil Brown confirmed: "The second bid that we made has been accepted by Southampton, which gives us a license to talk to him.
"But as I said to the chairman last week, I want to take my focus off the transfer market and put it on the players who are doing the business for us at the moment."
Prutton joined the Saints in January 2003 for £2.5million from Nottingham Forest and has scored five times in 94 outings for the South Coast club.
