Sodje stay delights Grayson

Reading defender Sam Sodje has extended his loan spell at Leeds United until after the League One play-off final.

The Royals have had a 24-hour recall clause inserted in to the deal, but United manager Simon Grayson is pleased with the arrangement.

"We're grateful Reading have allowed us to keep him, and we're hopeful that they don't have any injuries or suspensions while their season is ongoing," he told Leeds' official website.

"We have some good players working to compete at the back. We have a number of good centre halves competing for four places."

The 30-year-old has made four starts for Leeds since moving to Elland Road last month.
