No favours for Gordon - Grayson

Simon Grayson has promised no favours for his former skipper Gordon Strachan, who the Leeds boss claims has played "a significant part" in his career.Grayson, a young player at Elland Road when Strachan was Leeds captain, takes his side to Middlesbrough on Saturday and admits the Scot has been a big influence on his own career.Grayson said: "I had them marked down as favourites when the season started. But nothing's won in October. There's nobody promoted or relegated. With the players Middlesbrough have it's only a matter of time before they start climbing."Gordon has a great reputation as a coach and as a manager. He's been a great professional and as a player and a manager, I have to say he has been a big guidance for me."He's been there for advice and he has played a significant part in my career, although he might not actually know that."On Saturday I'll be looking to do what's best for my team, and hopefully that's beating Middlesbrough. We'll be looking to make it as uncomfortable as possible."
