Leeds United manager Gary McAllister has signed a new 12-month rolling contract at Elland Road.
McAllister, who was appointed as Dennis Wise's successor in January on a short-term deal until the end of the season, has lost just two of his 11 games at the helm.
The Scotland international midfielder previously spent six years as a player at the West Yorkshire club.
"I'm delighted and very honoured," he told the club's official website.
"I was initially offered job until the end of the season and it took me all of two seconds to agree then and it's similar now.
"The players now know where they stand as far as I'm concerned and we can all look forward to the future together.
"I was very eager to stay and I want to bring success to the club."
Chairman Ken Bates added: "We've been impressed with what Gary has done and we decided it was fair to offer him a rolling contract to enable us to plan the future with confidence and security."
