New Leeds deal for Lucas

Former Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper David Lucas has signed a deal with Leeds United that will keep him at Elland Road until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old penned a short-term contract with Dennis Wise's side in September and has made four first-team appearances for the club, although only one of those has been in League One, the defeat at Cheltenham Town.

Meanwhile, Tomi Ameobi has extended his loan spell with Scunthorpe United until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has made nine appearances from the substitute's bench for The Iron since moving to Glanford Park in November.
