Naylor secures Leeds switch

Leeds United landed Ipswich Town defender Richard Naylor on a permanent basis before Monday's transfer deadline.

The 31-year-old made four appearances while on loan at Elland Road earlier in the season, but has now put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year contract.

The Leeds-born defender made 373 appearances during a 15-year career with the Tractor Boys.

"I'm really, really pleased this is sorted and after all these years I can finally call myself a Leeds United player," he told the club's official website.

"I know my future now, I know it's here and I want to take this club forward.

"I wouldn't have made a decision like this to go to any other club."
