Leeds United have told Ian Moore he can leave Elland Road when his contract expires in the summer.
The 31-year-old striker joined Leeds from Burnley in 2005 for £50,000 and scored five times in 24 starts and 65 total appearances.
"I didn't have a good start when I first came to the club, but I think I've always had a good relationship with the fans," he told the club's official website after hearing he wasn't part of manager Dennis Wise's long-term plans.
"I was devastated when I was told I wouldn't be here next season.
"I was hoping to play a part in helping the club get back up, but we'll see what the next few weeks hold now."
Moore started 16 games this season and last figured in the final home game of the campaign - the 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town which confirmed the West Yorkshire club's relegation to League One.
