Michalik extends Leeds stay

Relegation-threatened Leeds United have extended central defender Lubomir Michalik's loan stay at Elland Road until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old Bolton Wanderers stopper has made six appearances for Dennis Wise's side since joining the club in March.

The Slovakia international scored in the vital win against Plymouth Argyle and will remain with the Championship side until after the final game of the season at Derby County.

Michalik has still to make his first-team debut for Bolton since moving to the Reebok Stadium from FC Senec in January.
