Barnsley have extended goalkeeper David Lucas' stay at Oakwell by a further month.
Lucas, 29, joined the Tykes on a short-term contract in January to provide cover for regular number one Nick Colgan.
The former Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday keeper has made one appearance as a second-half substitute for the injured Colgan in the 3-0 win over Hull City in February and has now agreed a further one-month contract.
Meanwhile, midfielder Dwayne Mattis will miss the weekend clash with in-form Sunderland.
Mattis, who has only made three appearances since arriving at Oakwell in January, picked up an ankle injury in a midweek reserve-team outing.
"Dwayne picked up an ankle problem playing on Tuesday afternoon. We expect him to be out of action for between seven and ten days," boss Simon Davey told the club's official website.
