Leeds to offer Beckford new deal

Leeds United are set to offer 25-year-old striker Jermaine Beckford a new contract to stay at Elland Road.Last season's top scorer has 12 months left on his current deal and his agent had hinted he was prepared to move on if a new deal was not forthcoming. Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey told BBC Radio Leeds: "I've actually spoken with Jermaine's agent today [Tuesday].
