Kisnorbo offered new Leeds deal
Leeds are ready to offer out-of-contract central defender Patrick Kisnorbo a new contract. The 30-year-old Australia international, who ended his 14-month injury nightmare with a final-day appearance at champions QPR on Saturday, is out of contract next month.Manager Simon Grayson said: "It was great to see Paddy come back on Saturday. It's obviously been a long, hard road for him and he's had a tough time with the injury."We'll be putting together a contract which we hope will suit both parties."Kisnorbo, the club's player of the year last season after arriving from Leicester on a free transfer in July 2009, stepped off the bench for the last 10 minutes of Leeds' 2-1 win at QPR for his first appearance since rupturing his Achilles tendon in March 2010.Meanwhile, Leeds will not be offering a new deal to 33-year-old goalkeeper Shane Higgs, who made 29 appearances during his two-year stay at Elland Road. His contract expires in June.
