Higgs hoping for return to action

A troublesome thigh problem has limited Higgs to just one appearance since September, but he will get some valuable game time under his belt for the reserves against Lincoln on Wednesday evening. "It's been a frustrating time for me," Higgs told the club's official website. "I came in during the summer, I started the season and thought I played well. "I came so close to coming back and then it went again, and this can't come quick enough for me now." He added: "It's been a roller-coaster of emotions. I've had a couple of sore times, but overall it's feeling good. "Watching games is difficult for me because I think mentally it puts you on the wrong route. Hopefully now, it's taken a bit more time, I should be ok."
