Leeds United have allowed central defender Matt Heath to extend his stay with Colchester United until the end of the season. The 27-year-old joined the U's last month and has made three appearances for the Championship side so far. The former Coventry City defender signed a two-year contract with Leeds last summer but has made only one start for the League One side since New Year's Day. Colchester's relegation was confirmed when Barnsley won at Watford on Wednesday.
