Grayson ponders Leeds changes

Leeds manager Simon Grayson could be tempted to make one or two changes for Monday night's home clash with Cardiff.

Grayson has no new injury or suspension worries, but may want to tweak his starting line-up following his side's inept display in the home dfeat to Leicester in midweek.

Goalkeepers Kasper Schmeichel (foot) and Shane Higgs (hamstring) are still not ready to return, so Grayson must stick with Blackburn's Jason Brown, who made his third appearance for Leeds against Leicester, or hand a debut to fellow loanee Ben Alnwick, who arrived from Tottenham last week.

Summer signing Billy Paynter (shin) edged closer to his first appearance for the club following his summer switch from Swindon, as did left-back Ben Parker, by completing 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek, but neither is expected to be included in the squad at this stage.

Striker Ramon Nunez is pushing for his first appearance after scoring for Leeds in the same reserve game.
