Grayson ponders keeper options

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has hinted that he may try to lure another goalkeeper to Elland Road next week as Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs continue to be sidelined by injuries. Jason Brown has already extended his loan spell with the club while Higgs is struggling with a hamstring strain and Schmeichel has been sidelined since August with a foot injury. Grayson said: "Kasper's going to be touch and go (for Middlesbrough). We'll assess that situation, but Shane's going to be out for a few weeks with his hamstring injury which leaves us with Jason. "If Kasper's going to be out for a couple more weeks then we'll have to bring in more loan cover for that position. It's not always an easy thing to do. "But we're not going to do anything until after the weekend. There's no point. We could have some good news (about Schmeichel) on Monday and then we'd have wasted a loan signing."
