Grayson full of praise for Becchio
The Argentinian striker fully justified Grayson's decision to restore him to the starting line-up as he struck twice in eight second-half minutes to chase away the tension after just one league win in the previous eight matches. Grayson said: "It has been a difficult season for Luciano because after starting the season he was out for six to eight weeks with an ankle injury. "Trying to recapture his form has been difficult but he got a couple of goals a few weeks ago at Hartlepool which kicked him on. "I left him out at the weekend because he had played a lot of games but he showed the quality we know he possesses. Hopefully now he has the confidence and belief to go on and get another six to 10 goals to help us win promotion." Grayson added: "I am delighted with the way we played after the last two disappointing home performances and results. The players showed a lot of self-belief which they can take into the remaining matches."
