Grayson coy on new players

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is keeping his cards close to his chest as he looks to bring fresh faces to Elland Road.

Several players have been linked with moves to the League One club since they lost out in the play-offs last month, but Grayson is remaining tight-lipped on the identity of his targets.

"Negotiations are ongoing with several players and several clubs, but there's nothing firm that we can say as yet," he told the club's official website.

"As everyone knows, I'm not one for discussing speculation and would rather the first people know about any players be when we sign them.

"This is traditionally the quietest time of year in terms of players.

"A lot of clubs are still making decisions and having discussions, and for all there's a lot of stuff in the papers, there isn't a lot of actual activity in the transfer market at the moment."
