Leeds United striker Tore Andre Flo is set for a fresh spell on the sidelines after being told he requires surgery on a foot injury.
The 34-year-old missed four months of last season after breaking his foot shortly after his January transfer window arrival and has now been told he requires more surgery, which could keep him out for another prolonged period.
"We'll be patient with him and he's got to be patient too," manager Dennis Wise told the club's official website.
"If he's back in six or eight weeks that's fine. He came off the bench last weekend and he is capable of making an impact.
"It's been a difficult time for him, but hopefully this will help now."
Meanwhile, fellow striker Jermaine Beckford has put pen to paper on a new two-and-a-half year contract at Elland Road.
