Leeds United goalkeeper Casper Ankergren has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.
"It is alleged that Ankergren threw a missile at Swindon Town supporters at the end of a game at the County Ground on March 1," read an FA statement.
The Danish keeper has until April 1 to respond to the charge.
Meanwhile, midfielder Jonathon Douglas is set to make his comeback from a knee injury for reserves on Tuesday night.
The Republic of Ireland international has been out of action since December.
