Chelsea may face a battle to keep hold of assistant manager Roberto di Matteo.

The Daily Star Sunday report that Di Matteo is under consideration at Leeds United should Simon Grayson be given his cards.

Leeds chairman Ken Bates knows Di Matteo from his time in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Since his return to the Blues, the Italian has also been linked with jobs at FC Basle and Palermo this season.
