Delph's progress delights Mac

Leeds United manager Gary McAllister picked out Fabian Delph for special praise after watching his side beat Brighton 3-1.

The 17-year-old, who only made his first start for the League One side in August, produced a fine display as he added to his growing reputation.

A delighted McAllister said: "Fabian Delph has come through our academy and is an exciting talent as well as being very competitive.

"He's a natural footballer and it's good that he's learning his trade here, away from the microscope of the Premier League.

"I don't want to tempt fate by putting too much pressure on the kid. He has lots of time on his side."
