Delph claims fans' award

Highly-rated Leeds United youngster Fabian Delph has won the fans' League One Player of the Month for January.

It is the second time this season that Delph has been given the award, the previous success coming in November.

The 19-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League due to some inspired form, sparking fears he may have left Elland Road in January.

However, Leeds have been able to keep hold of Delph and manager Simon Grayson heaped praise on the midfielder.

"He's shown a great maturity," Grayson told Leeds' official website. "He's dealt with everything and stayed focused on what he does."

Delph's impressive performances in January were topped off by a wonder goal in the 2-0 win away at Brighton.
