Collins seals Whites return

Leeds United have sealed the signing of defender Neill Collins from Preston North End, following a successful loan spell last season.

The 26-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Elland Road, having fallen out of favour at Deepdale following the arrival of manager Darren Ferguson.

Whites boss Simon Grayson told the club's official website: "We know all about Neill and what he brings to the club from last season.

"Neill already knows most of the lads here, but we're pleased we've been able to complete the deal before we go to Slovakia on Saturday.

"Neill has plenty of experience at Championship level and he is another important addition to our squad."
