Leeds United boss Kevin Blackwell has completed his fourth signing of the summer, with Wolves defender Paul Butler the latest player to move to Elland Road.
The 31-year-old was out of contract at Molineux and has opted to put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Whites rather than accept the terms on offer from Wolves.
The Butler deal follows the arrivals of Clarke Carlisle, Julian Joachim and Danny Pugh at the club and Blackwell is promising more new faces in the coming weeks.
"We are ongoing with transfers," he told the club's official website.
"We're still looking for another five players at least, and we're confident we can do that.
"Some of them will be done in July, and some will be squad players as well because one way or another over the past year we have lost what I call our back-up.
"There was no strength in depth last season, when we had a few injuries that was it, we were struggling to put 11 players out at times.
"You play more games in the first division and you can't account for injuries, so I want to make sure we are prepared."
The Whites are believed to be keen to add Fulham's Barry Hayles and Torquay United's David Graham to their squad.
