Blackwell set to sue

Former Leeds United boss Kevin Blackwell is reportedly set to sue the club for wrongful dismissal.
Blackwell was sacked by the Whites in September following a poor start to the Championship campaign and, as yet, chairman Ken Bates has refused to hold talks about what compensation will be offered to cover the remainder of his contract.
The former Sheffield United assistant manager only signed a three-year deal in March on his way to guiding Leeds to the play-offs, where they lost in the final to Watford, and is due some recompense.
However, with nothing forthcoming, League Managers' Association chief John Barnwell has revealed that Blackwell is starting legal action against the club.
He said: "It would appear Leeds don't want to negotiate a settlement.
"Mr Bates has said Kevin Blackwell was not dismissed because of poor results but for negative comments made in the press about the club's finances.
"Having looked closely at this case we feel we have no option other than to put the matter in the hands of our lawyers."
