Bates expects to keep Beckford

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates insists he has still to receive an offer for striker Jermaine Beckford.
The 25-year-old, who netted 34 goals last season, still has 12 months left on his Elland Road contract but had been expected to move to a Championship side this summer.
However, Bates revealed: "So far we've had tentative enquiries about Becks, but there's been no offers.
"He's still a Leeds United player and we're looking forward to him scoring another 30 goals next season."
