Whites see off Irish opposition
Robert Snodgrass gave the Whites an early lead before Jermaine Beckford and Enoch Showunmi sealed a solid win on their first appearance in Northern Ireland since 1982.
Simon Grayson picked a strong line-up which also included Fabien Delph and Luciano Becchio for the fixture, and his side will now return to England for six more pre-season matches ahead of the new campaign.
