Collins, 26, will stay until the summer and provides Leeds manager Simon Grayson with much-needed central defensive cover after Kisnorbo suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Monday night's defeat to Millwall, which appears to have ended his World Cup dreams with Australia.[LNB]Collins, who has made a total of 23 first-team appearances for Preston this season, signed a permanent deal at Deepdale in January after initially arriving on loan from Wolves.[LNB]Former Preston manager Alan Irvine paid £600,000 for Collins before being sacked and the centre-half has fallen out of favour with new Lilywhites boss Darren Ferguson.[LNB]Meanwhile, Leeds have agreed to extend striker Davide Somma's loan spell with Lincoln until the end of the season.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
