The 50-year-old, who along with Ian Miller forms Simon Grayson's backroom staff with the League One side, has assisted Nigel Worthington with the Northern Ireland side since the summer of 2007.

"I am delighted to be continuing in my role as Northern Ireland assistant manager for the Euro 2012 campaign," Snodin said.

"I became involved in the squad in June 2007 and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Nigel Worthington, his players and the other members of the backroom team and I'm really looking forward to the start of the upcoming campaign."
