Leeds have terminated the contract of midfielder Andy Robinson by mutual consent. The 31-year-old, who joined from Swansea in the summer of 2008, made 50 appearances for the club and scored seven goals. However his last league start for the Whites was against Northampton in May 2009 while his most recent first-team involvement of any kind came last season when he featured eight times off the bench. Robinson, who is now free to join another club from January 1, spent a period on loan in 2009/10 at Tranmere where he netted once in five appearances. Leeds boss Simon Grayson told the club's official website: "In the best interests of Andy and the football club we're agreed to cancel his contract. "It's an opportunity for him to further his career and we wish him well."
