The Soul Of Leeds In 50 Moments (No 49)

My favourite player in the late 1970s and almost all the 1980s. Leeds was not a good place. The team was rubbish, the violence fortnightly and nasty little National Front men would dole out their leaflets by the main gates. But then there was Tony Currie, an absolutely fantastic flair player in midfield, blowing kisses, sitting on the ball and basically playing the role of PT Barnum to Frank Lampard's one-trick pony.
