Somma: Play-off place achievable

Leeds striker Davide Somma is confident Leeds can challenge for a play-off place after "an ok start" to the season. Simon Grayson's side have slipped to 10th place following successive league defeats to Preston and Ipswich, but Somma, the club's leading scorer with six goals, insists Leeds must aim for the Barclays Premier League. Somma said: "It's been an ok start. There's a couple more games we should have won, but it's a tough division. "The last couple of games have not been the best, but we have to move on to Middlesbrough after the break. "We have to think about things and re-group, and work hard over the next week. The gaffer has his ideas and we have to take things forward. We feel we can make the play-offs, we're good enough to do that. "Leeds can't stay in the Championship. It's too big a club just to stay in the Championship. We came up to the Championship and we have to aim for the Premiership."
