Somma back in fold

Leeds striker Davide Somma returns to contention following suspension for the home clash with Millwall. Somma, yet to make a league appearance for Leeds, has completed a three-game ban after being sent off while playing for Lincoln at the end of last season and gives manager Simon Grayson another option up front. Summer signing Billy Paynter, sidelined with a shin injury, is still waiting to make his competitive debut and Robert Snodgrass has yet to return to full fitness following a knee injury. Grayson, who has opted to play Luciano Becchio on his own up front in Leeds' first two league matches, could hand a substitute's role to Somma, who scored nine goals in 14 appearances on loan at Lincoln last season. Fellow forward Mike Grella stepped up his bid for a place in Grayson's starting line-up with two goals for the reserves against Gateshead in midweek while Aidy White was also on the scoresheet. Defenders Ben Parker (Achilles) and Patrick Kisnorbo (knee) remain Grayson's only long-term absentees.
