The 24-year-old South African, who has scored four goals in as many reserve-team appearances for United this season, will remain with the League Two club until January 2.

Leeds manager Simon Grayson told the club's official website: "Davide has done well since coming in at the start of the season. He's scored a few goals and he's been around the first-team squad.

"Hopefully this will give him an opportunity to be more involved in a first-team environment. The experience will be good for both Davide and the club."
