Schmeichel boosts Leeds options

Leeds goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel will return to the squad for the home clash with Hull. The 24-year-old missed the win at Coventry after becoming a father for the first time, but he could return to the starting line-up in place of on-loan Jason Brown, who leapfrogged Shane Higgs into the side on Saturday due to the latter's recent injury. Max Gradel and midfield partner Amdy Faye both missed training on Monday after picking up knocks at Coventry. Manager Simon Grayson revealed that "one or two other players" have been struggling with illness. Skipper Richard Naylor (knee) and Sanchez Watt (hamstring) remain sidelined, while Grayson must decide whether to stick with Neill Collins alongside on-loan Andy O'Brien at the heart of defence, or recall Alex Bruce.
