Leeds' latest signing Lloyd Sam has targeted a place in the npower Championship play-offs at the end of next season. Sam, whose contract at Charlton expired last month, has signed a two-year contract with Simon Grayson's promoted side, who he chose over several other Championship clubs. The 25-year-old Londoner said: "It's interesting, I always had a soft spot for Leeds because when my dad was at Leeds University he supported Leeds. "At Charlton they always used to tell me I wasn't a Londoner, despite my accent, so it'll be nice to be accepted here, coming from Leeds!" The former England Under-20 international added: "My contract had ended and I wanted to get back to playing in the Championship. I was looking at a few Championship options and started talking with Leeds. "I'm hoping to get in the team and I hope we can be in and around the play-offs. I'm buzzing and looking forward to getting started and getting to know the lads."
