Richardson waits on Leeds offer
United's club captain is the League One outfit's longest-serving player and is "not desperate to leave" Elland Road - even though he has not started a game since January.
Black told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "It seems that there's going to be an offer from Leeds, although we're not sure of what level that will be at.
"Everything's a bit fresh at the moment because the season only finished on Thursday but I'm planning to sit down with Frazer in the next couple of days and see what's he's thinking. We'll then see what Leeds have to say.
"He's been there a long time and he's not desperate to leave by any means but he does need to make sure that he makes the right decision for his career.
"When we know where Leeds stand we'll be able to properly assess the situation but we honestly haven't explored any other opportunities because Frazer's been totally focused on the last few months of the season. The first port of call is to see what comes from Leeds."
