No Go Snodgrass
Leeds have pledged to stand firm after revealing that several of their star players have attracted interest from home and abroad - in the wake of a rumoured £3.5m bid for winger Robert Snodgrass. Reports have suggested United have turned down a club record bid from Premiership new boys Norwich City for Snodgrass - with the Canaries tipped to return with a renewed bid. Prized assets including Snodgrass, player-of-the-season Max Gradel and keeper Kasper Schmeichel have reportedly come under the microscope of several clubs over the past month, with Gradel - with just 12 months left on his United deal - linked with a £2m move to Bundesliga outfit Hamburg last month. But United CEO Shaun Harvey insists the club aren’t under any pressure to sell. He said: “We will continue our policy of not commenting on specific speculation, but would reiterate our position that any player leaving will only do so in those circumstances that we believe represents the best interests of the club and has the full support of Simon Grayson.”
