Naylor in fitness battle

Leeds skipper Richard Naylor will continue his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury on the training ground this week. Naylor, who sustained the injury against Charlton in May, is not yet ready to return to match action so will remain at Thorp Arch while the rest of the squad spend time in Slovakia. Manager Simon Grayson concedes that Naylor is slightly behind on his fitness and told the club's official website: "We took a decision for Richard to stay at Thorp Arch and continue his fitness work. It's been a gradual process with him. "He's slightly behind on fitness and we feel his time is better spent at Thorp Arch over the next week." But despite being behind with his fitness, Grayson has no concerns over his leadership qualities, adding: "Richard will be club captain again next season, there is no doubt about that."
