Naylor goes under knife

Leeds will be without skipper Richard Naylor for up to six weeks following the central defender's minor knee operation. Naylor, 33, has missed the last six matches since sustaining the injury in the home defeat to Leicester in mid-October. Manager Simon Grayson said: "Richard was feeling it after he came back in the reserves so we felt this was the best thing to do. "He went in at the start of the week. It was a case of tidying things up really and he'll be out for between four and six weeks." Grayson drafted in Andy O'Brien on loan from Bolton in Naylor's absence and the former Bradford defender has been an ever-present alongside Alex Bruce in central defence. Jonny Howson has taken over the captain's role.
