Nasri Guns down Leeds

Arsenal turned on the style in their third-round FA Cup replay at Elland Road as goals from Samir Nasri, Bacary Sagna and Robin van Persie secured a 3-1 win over Leeds. Nasri coolly converted Andrey Arshavin's pass to give Arsenal a fifth-minute lead and Sagna, back from suspension, arrowed a brilliant second into the top corner 10 minutes before half-time. Leeds midfielder Bradley Johnson topped Sagna's effort with a stunning 25-yard thunderbolt two minutes later, but Simon Grayson's side, who turned in another display full of grit and no little skill, always appeared one pace behind the classy visitors. After struggling against Leeds at home in this FA Cup third-round contest, and having been embarrassed at Ipswich in the Carling Cup last week, this was a far more comfortable ride for Arsene Wenger's side. That was thanks in large part to France international Nasri, whose presence in midfield looked hugely reassuring for the Gunners.
