Losing start for Leeds
Championship side Leeds started their pre-season preparations with a 1-0 loss to MFK Ruzomberok in Slovakia.
With manager Simon Grayson giving first appearances to all six of his new signings and fielding two different sides, United were unable to recover from Jan Chovanec's 16th-minute goal for the home side.
South African striker Davide Somma impressed for Leeds after the break and had a goal disallowed, while winger Robert Snodgrass hit the post with a low drive.
