Chris Wood could land Leeds recall

Leeds head coach Steve Evans must decide whether to recall Chris Wood to the starting line-up for the home derby against Huddersfield.

Wood (hamstring) stepped off the bench to end an eight-game lay-off in last week's win at Blackburn, but Mirco Antenucci has scored four goals in three matches and Souleymane Doukara was on target in the recent win at Cardiff.

Defenders Liam Cooper (hamstring) and Lewie Coyle (ankle) are both back in contention, while winger Stuart Dallas and midfielder Luke Murphy are pushing to return.

Goalkeeper Ross Turnbull (ankle) remains the only absentee as Leeds bid for a fourth straight league win.

Huddersfield could hand a debut to Rajiv van La Parra, who arrived last week from Wolves in a loan move that will become permanent in the summer.

Head coach David Wagner is expected to include Philip Billing in his squad. The Danish midfielder played no part in last week's home defeat to Burnley after completing a three-match ban.

But Wagner will be without midfielder Kyle Dempsey (calf), who has been ruled out for three weeks, and forward Elvis Manu will have to wait a little longer for his first start after returning to Holland to be with his poorly son.

Defenders Joel Lynch and James Husband, plus forwards Harry Bunn and Jamie Paterson are pushing for recalls.
