Warnock out for Whites

Leeds will be without suspended defender Stephen Warnock for their home game with Burnley.

Left-back Warnock was sent off for a late second yellow card in the midweek defeat at Reading and will sit out a one-game ban, while right-back Lee Peltier is struggling to overcome a groin problem that ruled him out on Wednesday night.

Boss Brian McDermott must decide whether teenage defender Sam Byram is ready to be included in the squad for the first time this season following a hip injury.

Another defender, Aidy White, was recalled to the substitutes' bench at Reading and could come into contention if Peltier misses out again and Byram is deemed not ready. Otherwise, McDermott has no new major selection issues.

Burnley will have Ben Mee available after the defender recovered from a bout of illness.

The full-back started Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Birmingham but failed to emerge for the second half with boss Sean Dyche later revealing he had been physically sick at half-time.

Should - as expected - Mee declare his fitness, Dyche may opt for the same XI for the third time in eight days with Ross Wallace (knee) the only absentee.

Daniel Lafferty filled in for Mee in the second half against Blues and will hope he did enough to impress in his cameo.
