Becchio back for Leeds

Leeds striker Luciano Becchio will return to the squad for the game at bottom club Bristol City.

Becchio missed the midweek FA Cup replay win at Birmingham through illness, while speculation over his future at Elland Road has been mounting with both Wigan and Hull reported to be interested in the 29-year-old Argentinian.

Manager Neil Warnock will be without Adam Drury for several weeks after the defender sustained a similar ankle injury to the one that kept striker Ross McCormack out for two months earlier this season.

But midfielder pair Michael Tonge and Ross Barkley, on loan from Everton, both return to contention after being cup-tied for the Birmingham replay and while Warnock has no other new injury or suspension headaches, he is likely to make several changes again at Ashton Gate.

Goalkeeper Paddy Kenny and central defender Alan Tate were rested in midweek and likely to return to the starting line-up, while the likes of Jason Pearce, Aidy White and David Norris are also pushing for recalls.

Bristol City's new manager Sean O'Driscoll heads to Elland Road without the Robins' star man Albert Adomah.

The 25-year-old has just linked up with Ghana for Africa Cup of Nations duty.

O'Driscoll's first match in charge of the Robins comes at the ground where he managed Nottingham Forest for the last time back in December and he could be without midfielder Marvin Elliott for the trip with a groin injury.

Meanwhile, defenders Matthew Bates and Mark Wilson, whose contracts with the club are set to expire, will not travel to Elland Road but will continue to train with the club as they look to impress O'Driscoll.

Fellow defender Joe Edwards completed a permanent move to Yeovil this week, while Stephen McManus returned to parent club Middlesbrough.

Venezuelan trialist Frank Feltscher has gone back to Zurich, where he plays his football for Swiss club Grasshoppers.
