Jordan Botaka could make Leeds debut against Brentford

Leeds' new signing Jordan Botaka is hoping to make his debut for the club in the home game against Brentford.

Winger Botaka signed a two-year deal when arriving from Dutch side Excelsior last week but it remains to be seen whether head coach Uwe Rosler considers the 22-year-old DR Congo international ready to feature.

Rosler has no new selection concerns as he prepares to face his former club, while striker Mirco Antenucci and midfielder Luke Murphy are pushing for places in the starting line-up.

Midfielder Lewis Cook returned from suspension in the win at Derby last time out and is expected to resume as Leeds bid to extend their unbeaten start to six matches.

Brentford can add new signings Ryan Woods, Sergi Canos and Marco Djuricin to their squad.

Woods arrived from Shrewsbury for an undisclosed fee on deadline day, fellow midfielder Canos signed on loan from Liverpool and striker Djuricin is on a season-long deal from Red Bull Salzburg.

Winger Sam Saunders will miss out with a knock and midfielder Marcos Tebar is still unavailable due to a hamstring injury, although he is back in training.

They join Josh McEachran (foot), Jota (ankle), Andreas Bjelland and Scott Hogan (both knee) on the sidelines.
