Cani play?

Leeds head coach Neil Redfearn must decide whether to include new signing Edgar Cani in his plans for the home game against Brentford.

Striker Cani, signed on loan from Catania until the end of the season, has this week trained with the Leeds squad and gives Redfearn an extra option as fellow targetman Steve Morison has been nursing a hip problem in recent weeks.

Teenager Lewis Cook sustained a slight knee injury that forced him off in the closing stages of last week's win at Huddersfield but is expected to resume in midfield.

New signing Granddi Ngoyi will not feature due to a thigh problem, while defender Giuseppe Bellusci is suspended.

Brentford will again be without Lewis Macleod, Alan Judge, Alan McCormack and Scott Hogan.

Macleod, the January signing from Rangers, has yet to make his debut due to a hamstring problem and fellow midfielder Judge is still receiving treatment on a knee injury.

Right-back McCormack played for the reserves in midweek to build up his fitness after three months out with an ankle injury but will not be risked yet, and striker Hogan remains sidelined by cruciate ligament damage.

Midfielder Jonathan Douglas will captain the Bees against his former club.
