Eunan O'Kane hoping to make Leeds debut at home to fellow strugglers Blackburn

Leeds midfielder Eunan O'Kane is hoping to make his debut in the home game against fellow strugglers Blackburn.

O'Kane, who joined Leeds on a two-year deal from Bournemouth before the international break, was not included in head coach Garry Monk's squad for Saturday's home derby defeat to Huddersfield.

Monk has a virtually full-strength squad to choose from, with defender Gaetano Berardi the only absentee due to a hamstring injury that has delayed his start to the season.

Changes can be expected as Leeds chase their first home league win under Monk, who could recall the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Ronaldo Vieira to his starting line-up.

Charlie Mulgrew will miss winless Blackburn's trip to Yorkshire.

The ex-Celtic defender was withdrawn in the first half of the draw with QPR on Saturday due to an ankle injury and is set to undergo a scan to determine the length of his absence.

Youngsters Scott Wharton and Stephen Hendrie could come back into boss Owen Coyle's thinking as a result having not made the bench at Loftus Road despite travelling, though the Rovers boss will be unable to recall any of his injured players.

Anthony Stokes (knee), Adam Henley, Elliott Bennett (both hamstring) and Elliott Ward (ankle) are all still sidelined.
