The phenomenal Leeds United striker has scooped his second PFA award of 2017. The Kiwi No.9 has been voted the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for March, beating fellow nominees Helder Costa of Wolves, Aston Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia, Norwich striker Cameron Jerome, QPR forward Yeni N'Gbakoto and Bristol City defender Aden Flint.

This accolade comes after a brace of goals in the 3-1 win over Birmingham, where he also picked up the MOTM award followed by a second brace against Brighton where he was nominated once more as the MOTM.

The 25-year-old got his break at West Brom where he was subsequently loaned out before joining Premier League Champions Leicester and finally Leeds in 2015.

The Leeds striker has also been nominated for the Championship player of the season award and boss Garry Monk says he is "proud" of his player. Leeds currently sit in 5th place in the Championship, just one point behind Reading and 2 behind Huddersfield in 3rd. Who would bet against Leeds returning to the Premier League with Wood in such fine goalscoring form?
